Dan K. Cummings, P.L.S.. Is the Principal Professional Land Surveyor of CK3, LLC.
Dan began his Surveying career in 1970. Through his years of experience he has performed topographic land surveys and civil engineering design projects including utility relocation, boundary, construction and cadastral surveys, power line survey and design, pipeline construction surveying, subdivision design and platting, road survey and design, construction project inspections, contract administration, and GPS control surveys.
Dan also acts as a CAD operator, experienced in computer programs and use.
Dan has worked closely with many city and county municipalities and Utility Companies on various projects as Contract Administrator performing daily inspections of the construction procedures, handling the bidding for the construction of the project and Contract negotiation process, project scheduling, and effectively solving problems that arise.
Dan has vast experience in working closely with utility companies, public agencies, residents, and businesses in the area during the process of a project. Dan concentrates his efforts on getting the project done on time and within budget without compromising the quality of the end result. Dan is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in the States of Oregon and Idaho and is a member of the Professional Land Surveyors of Oregon and the Idaho Society of Professional Land Surveyors.
Lance started his career in Boise, Idaho in 1993 where he did boundary, property layouts, and topographic survey. He also worked on several aspects of construction surveying. Lance transferred to Ontario in 1996 and began working for "Gaschler & Cummings" where he continued to strengthen his surveying career, which included drafting, construction plans and A.L.T.A. Surveys. In 1998 Lance continued his employment when "Gaschler & Cummings" became "Edwards & Cummings". In 2002 Lance saw the opportunity to start his own surveying company, "K-3 Services, Inc." with his brother Chase. "K-3 Services, Inc." specialized in G.I.S. Data Collection Systems & Construction Surveying. In 2006 "K-3 Services, Inc." merged with "Edwards & Cummings" which is now "CK3, LLC".
In 1996 while in High School, Chase started surveying by working part-time with Lance, at Gaschler & Cummings. After High School Chase explored other career options only to find himself coming back home to start surveying with Lance again. In 2002, Lance and Chase started their own surveying company, K-3 Services, Inc. In 2006, Chase and Lance merged their company "K-3 Services, Inc." with "Edwards & Cummings" and became "CK3, LLC".
Stewart is the principal Engineer of CK3, LLC. and began his engineering career in 1973, his experience includes Civil, Structural Engineering and Surveying various types of projects from land development, subdivisions, sewer and water systems, land surveying, construction project inspection and administration.
Stewart served as County Engineer for the County of Payette, Idaho from 1979 through 1987. His duties included plan reviews, advised County on public works projects, and helped project future growth needs.
Stewart is a graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a licensed Civil Engineer in the States of Oregon, Idaho, Washington, California, Nevada, Montana and Alaska. He is also a licensed Structural Engineer in the states of Oregon and Idaho.
Jack has been a Registered Electrical Engineer since 1972. Jack provides design and electrical engineering services to a variety of clients; in both commercial and industrial settings. These services include:
Power distribution design and analysis both hand calculations and via PTW Software.
Jack's work involves all aspects of modern electrical power systems, load flows, distribution design, eliability, coordination of overcurrent protection, fault analysis, power quality and armonic issues, power factor correction, emergency and standby power designs are part of my day to day work.
Lighting design and layout for a variety of applications the focus is on creative functional energy efficient designs pleasing to the eye. Work includes retail, commercial, industrial, school, indoor, outdoor and other settings.
Motor controls, including Motor Control Centers; variable Frequency Drives, Soft Starts, and related systems for pumping, industrial applications, HVAC, etc.
Other electrical systems include fire alarms, security systems, access control, data cabling design, emergency lighting and other life safety issues.
Water and Waste Water Systems including control systems, SCADA systems and resource management.
Pat was born and raised in St. Anthony, Idaho. He graduated from Idaho State University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in 2005, and received his Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate from the State of Idaho in 2005.
Pat worked for an Engineering Firm in Rexburg, Idaho during the summer of 2001 performing construction surveying on Roadways, sewer lines, water lines and curbing for various subdivisions as well as reviewed As-Built plans for these subdivisions.
In the fall of 2005 after Graduating from Idaho State University and receiving his EIT certificate, Pat worked for an Engineering firm in Eagle, Idaho where he prepared S.W.P.P.P.’s (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans) for various subdivisions, designed roadways, sewer lines, water lines, and pressure irrigation systems for various subdivisions along with field inspection during the construction of these subdivisions until he left to join CK3, LLC.
Pat joined CK3, LLC in September 2006 where he has continued his engineering career and work in Civil design of Subdivisions along with Commercial site design and furthering his Engineering skills in the structural design of all type of building construction.
Angela was born and raised in Weiser/Payette, Idaho area. In 1985, she graduated from Link’s School of Business receiving a diploma in Automation Secretarial. She is a single parent with three children; she made the decision to return to college in 2004. She graduated from Treasure Valley Community College and received an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Drafting Technology in 2006.
She joined CK3, LLC in June 2005 where she begun her CAD design career and has advanced her skills in the drafting design of construction plans; for numerous subdivisions, civil site design plans and drafting of all types of building plans. She has drafted Plats for numerous subdivisions, drafting of all types of record of surveys, plats. She researches and develops Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans according to Federal Regulations. She is cross-trained to perform office duties as a stand in for the office manager while she is out of the office. She has done proposal writing, bookkeeping and a variety of other management tasks.
Matt, a native of Ontario, Oregon, joined Ck3, LLC in the spring of 2002, to further his career in design drafting. He provides the major architectural and structural drafting of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, along with the site investigations, inspections of the structural projects, report writing, etc.
He came to us with three years of architectural drafting experience he gleaned from his former employer, an Architectural Firm, in Payette, Idaho. As project manager and draftsman, he performed residential, commercial, and industrial building design, site investigations, field inspections, and report writing.
Formally, Matt attended Treasure Valley Community College and received an Associate Degree in Drafting Technology in June of 2000. He also has in the field experience by working in the construction field for about ten years as a residential contractor and twenty-seven years as a farmer in the Nyssa area.
Debbie joined CK3, LLC in March 2007 bringing with her over 20 years experience in the Financial Field; banking, bookkeeping, escrow and loan processing. She manages the office at CK3 and enjoys the variety of experiences that have come her way since employment.
